Quick Fix
Was everything working fine, then it stopped? Nine times out of ten a clean restart brings Mail Bender right back. Here's the 30-second reset — do the steps in order.
The reset, in order
- Press the Log Out key on your Stream Deck.
- Close Outlook and the Stream Deck app from the system tray (the icons by the clock).
- Press Ctrl + Alt + Del → Task Manager and End task on Stream Deck and Outlook if they're still listed — both apps like to linger in the background even after you close them from the tray.
- Relaunch Outlook first, then Stream Deck, then sign back in with the Login key(s) on the deck. Should be back to normal.
Sync quick tip — stale counts or state
If a live display, a count, or the email you're acting on looks out of date, the fix is usually to force Outlook to sync rather than to restart anything:
Classic Outlook
Press F9 (Send / Receive All) to pull everything fresh right now.
Schedule it
Set
File > Options > Advanced > Send/Receive → "Schedule an automatic send/receive every 1 minute" so it stays current on its own.New Outlook
Syncs on its own in the background — but an F9-style manual refresh still helps nudge things along.
On the deck
Press a live display key to force that counter to refresh immediately, without waiting for its poll interval.
